Ben is a co-founder of Guide Book and owns and operates River Hawk Fly Fishing on the Cumberland River in Kentucky.
Walk and wade for Trophy Smallmouth bass, Carp, and Rock Bass on some of Kentucky's most scenic and accessible waters. Bronzebacks pull hard and are plentiful in these streams, but don't be surprised if we get the chance to target a big common carp, or even a handful of rockbass as well

The Cumberland River provides some of the best Rainbow and Brown Trout fishing in the southeastern United States . Beginning at Wolf Creek Dam, the Cumberland River supports over 75 miles of trout fishing, producing average size trout of around 14″ and many daily trophies ranging from 18″ to 20″ and larger. A trip with Ben includes 8 hours (or more) in Ben's Clackacraft drift boat fly fishing, a nice river lunch, and drinks. Casting lessons, photos, and great conversation are also, often, typical parts of a fishing day with Ben. Don't be surprised if he picks your brain about Guide Book here and there!
