“RyHud” has been consumed by fishing since he could hold a fishing rod, and even more so by the art of wrapping hair and hackle around hooks. He began tying commercially for shops at the age of 13, guided a couple stints in Mongolia for the fabled Taimen, hosted trips for Bolivian Jungle Dorado and built what the WFC is today. After high school graduation in 2004 out of Missouri, he was in Wyoming 2 days later to begin his guide career while pursuing a B.S. degree at the University of Wyoming. This allowed him to guide on the North Platte and Big Horn River systems in Wyoming during the school season and spend summer time on the Snake and Green Rivers. Eventually he settled in Daniel, Wyoming and got WFC going. The rest, as they say, is history.
