Target Species

Sockeye Salmon

Pound for pound one of the hardest fighting fish in Alaska. Sockeye salmon trips are conducted on the river banks of the Kenai or Kasilof River. After a short power boat or drift boat ride your guide will set you up on the bank and coach you on how to hook into and land these hard fighting salmon with a fly rod. No experience necessary as the technique is easy to learn and the fish are plentiful at most times. Full day trips are typically not recommended as you may catch your limit in a few hours at times. Suggested trips are either a 1/2 day (limit not guaranteed) or a 3/4 day (better chance of a full limit). Your guide will fillet all salmon and have them ready for a local processor of your choice.

Due to our short fishing seasons in Alaska, we require a 60-Day written notice of cancellation for a full refund less 10% administrative fees. Less than 60-day cancellation will be subject to forfeiture of your deposit unless the trip can be rebooked.
