A full day float typically starts before 8 am and and lasts no later then 5 pm. We float multiple sections of the Cahaba River and we have 1 available float on the upper Locust Fork. Instructions and lessons are available. Rods are provided by Guide. We have a 6wt, 5wt and 4wt rods which we will use primarily paired with floating, intermediate, and sinking lines depending on what we are targeting. Snacks and drinks are provided for a full day of leisure. Creek side lunches are made fresh on a stand up skottle. Lunch usually lasts 30-45 minutes. Burgers are the primary meal paired with all the fixins. If there are any dietary restrictions or allergies please let your guide know before the trip!

The Cahaba River is the longest free-flowing river in the southeastern Gulf Coast Region. This float trip is sure to reward you with a unique catch, a great lunch along the river, and plenty of wading opportunities along the mesmerizing shoals of the Cahaba river.
