This float trip down the Cahaba river covers some of central Alabamas best flyfishing and more pristine waters. The Cahaba River is one of the most biodiverse waterways on Earth. It has more species of fish than any other river of its size in North America. It supports 139 rare and imperiled species, including ten fish and mussel species listed under the US Endangered Species Act. The Cahaba River is the longest free-flowing river in the southeastern Gulf Coast Region. This float trip is sure to reward you with a unique catch, a great lunch along the river, and plenty of wading opportunities along the mesmerizing shoals of the Cahaba river. And if you’re lucky, the Cahaba Lillie’s will be in full bloom!
