Ash is a very knowledgeable and fun guide. One thing that sticks out the most is how much he enjoys putting people on fish. His rowing skills are par none. He positions you for high percentage cast and this important when throwing big flies on an 8wt for 4+ hours. I would recommend him to any angler of any level. You will have a great time with Ash as your guide.

Had an amazing day with Ashley! He was extremely knowledgeable about fishing the Mississippi for small mouth bass. I personally had over 10 fish to hand this day under his guidance. Besides the excellent fishing, Ashley whipped up some incredible fajitas for lunch. A hot lunch on the water is always such a treat. I highly recommend Ashley for your next fishing trip on the Mississippi.

If I could give Ashley 10 Stars I would! He is hilarious and my family and I learned so much about fly fishing and the Mississippi. What we loved is how patient he was with us as beginners. He was referred to us by a colleague (and repeat client) and we are going to be repeat clients! (His steak tacos are *chefs kiss* delicious) Thanks Ash & see you next season!!

Ashley is highly experienced at boating and angling. I had never fished using the fly technique prior, but under his tutelage I was casting and realing in no time. What made the experience special was that he is very patient, understanding, and easy to talk to. I plan to book another trip with him and would highly recommend his services.

My trip with Ashley was some of the best fishing I've experienced. Not because we caught so many, but because of the care, knowledge and fun that Ashley provided. I had never been fly fishing before and Ashley was more than happy to get me up to speed quickly and coach me through it. He was patient and encouraging, and shared in the excitement of catching my first small mouth on a fly reel. The experience was enjoyable, relaxed, and invigorating all at the same time. I would recommend Ashley to anyone and everyone, regardless of their interest or experience with fly fishing. I sincerely look forward to my next float!

Ashely was an EXCELLENT guide. It was mine and my mother’s first time fly fishing. He took the time to explain the technique and provided enough coaching and guidance to ensure we caught fish. The lunch Ashley prepared was excellent as well. My only complaint is that I wish we had more time. I’ll definitely be booking a full day next time!
