Canopy Fly FishingIntroduction to Fly Fishing for Women
Learn to fly fish or improve your fly fishing skills! This is a women-specific fly fishing workshop taught by female professional fly fishing guides. This 7- hour course is a mix of outdoor instruction and on the water learning. We will teach fly fishing skills; i.e. how to rig up a fly rod, casting techniques, fly selection, knot tying, safety issues specific to women, and gear selection. We will teach you how to net your own fish! This workshop is in a comfortable outdoor setting where you can be yourself and enjoy learning to fly fish. All gear is included including terminal tackle. We provide a delicious lunch. Come learn with us - we are a mother daughter team of professional fly fishing guides - we provide an intergenerational perspective and we're lots of fun, too!
