Our Sockeye Salmon Season kicks off with our early run on June 15th and can last all the way until the end of August. We fish from both Drift Boats and Power Boats and tailor our Fully Guided Sockeye Salmon Fishing Trips to the run timing and size. One day we could be fishing on the Kasilof River, and the next you’ll find us chasing them on the Kenai River. Our trips remain flexible so that we are able to provide our clients with the highest chance of success. When fishing for Sockeye Salmon, we use two different techniques; the first of them being the very popular technique of “flossing” using a fly rod and fly. The second technique uses a conventional approach using bobber and jig, when the right conditions present themselves. We offer both half day (4 hours) and full day (8 hours) Guided Trips for Sockeye Salmon and all trips are “all-inclusive”, meaning we provide everything you need to fish with except for your licenses and stamps. After your trip, if you plan to keep fish, we will filet and prepare your catch for transport to the processor so that it can be packed and prepared to ship back home.

The low country and coastal empire offer a unique experience on our specially high tides due to a new or full moon. Adding up to 1-3’ difference to normal tidal depth, this allows redfish to push into spartina marsh they don’t normally have access to. Hunting for crabs and shrimp, they will literally wave their tails out of the water as they burrow in the mud for food. This in turn, provides the some of the best sight-casting for GA redfish. *This trip is specifically geared towards a flood tide charter solely, averaging 2-3hr. Fee does not include tip.

With expansive marshes and creeks, it creates a great habitat for many species of gamefish. Miles and miles of spartina grass provide an abundance of life and prey that redfish, trout, flounder, and drum cannot resist! Oyster lined flats, shell bank drop offs, and dock structure additionally provide the much needed environment for predator fish to thrive. Winter and early spring offer some great sight fishing opportunities especially for fly fishing as the cool water becomes clear. Late spring and fall bring some of the most sought after fishing experiences with the arrival of the flood tides. If you have not experienced this, it is a must! Your hands will be sweaty and your knees shaking as redfish tail just feet away from you! We Provide: -Tackle & Bait -Fishing License -Water / Snacks -Cooler with ice -Sun Screen -Photos of you and your fish

Of the glacier rivers of the Olympic Peninsula, this is an anomaly; a large natural lake separates the upper river, accessible to the public, and the lower river, which is entirely within the Quinault reservation. The upper river is fairly short, about eight river miles to the North and East Fork confluence, with minimal and difficult access by boat. Walk-in access is easiest in the upper stretches, with the road being reasonably close to the north and south shore roads. Native sockeye, chinook, and coho are present. The upper river clears quickly after high water events and still produces some very large steelhead.

The West Fork Humptulips River flows through the Olympic National Forest at the southwest corner of the Olympic Peninsula. The West Fork is outstanding habitat for anadromous fish, supporting runs of chinook, coho, chum, and steelhead. Healthy salmon runs make the Humptulips prime habitat for bald eagles as well.

Baum Lake, a 75 acre spring-creek like fishery is a year round venue here in Northern California that has rainbow/brown trout, both stocked & holdover. Diverse insect hatch’s make this a great place to pickup fish on a dry fly, streamer or indicator. The action can be nonstop, in fact I consider it an excellent place to have a lot of fun or just learn the basics. Overall the scenery is epic, fishing is epic, & a ton of wildlife! I would consider this a relaxing type of fly fishing where you can take a seat & still catch fish. Let’s get you out there! -The trip covers 2 anglers, rods, flies, & tackle are included -cold drinks & deli style lunch -Typically fish for around 8-12 hours -meetup location Burney, Ca -Boat type, Clackacraft -Must bring fishing license 530-690-6636 for meetup address and time!
