The 95 mile long Kanektok or “Chosen” River is one of Alaska's premier float fishing destinations. Like many an angler you have likely spent hours pouring over all the available literature about these fabled waters. Most often, this endeavor results in imagining beautifully spotted leopard rainbow trout or powerful Pacific salmon "dancing" on the end of your line. The Kanektok is small enough to wade effectively and do some exciting sight fishing but large enough to float down comfortably.
