The Trinity River (originally called the Hoopa or Hupa by the Yurok, and hun' by the Natinixwe/Hupa people) is a major river in northwestern California in the United States, and is the principal tributary of the Klamath River. The Trinity flows for 165 miles (266 km) through the Klamath Mountains and Coast Ranges, with a watershed area of nearly 3,000 square miles (7,800 km2) in Trinity and Humboldt Counties. Designated a National Wild and Scenic River, along most of its course the Trinity flows swiftly through tight canyons and mountain meadows. The river is known for its once prolific runs of anadromous fish, notably Chinook salmon and steelhead, which sustained Native American tribes for thousands of years. It's a wonderful place to get a chance of hooking into a steelhead on the fly. Taco Fly Co. originated here and is one of the other places we like to call home. Most of the fishing will be had from Lewiston, CA down to Del Loma, CA depending on the time of the year. We use indicator and swing techniques on the fly to chase these amazing fish. This is an ALL YEAR ROUND fishery with Fall and Winter being the most popular times of the year to chase the steel.

8 hrs - $500 This is my most popular trip We will meet at one of the boat launch’s on the lower Androscoggin River We will use my 18’ jet boat / drift boat to access the best areas of the river, depending on the conditions we may float down and fish like a drift boat or we may stay put and concentrate on a certain area. On an average trip July - September we drift float and fish and cover 4-5 miles of river. There is many 4-5 mile sections to fish, so clients will often come back and fish year after year and each time fish a new area of the river. This area is mostly smallmouth bass and northern pike we can fly fish or spin fish for both species. The river is shallow class 2 rapids and rocks - deep sand pools eagles and other wildlife thrive on the rivers edge. The once polluted a Androscoggin river is now a world class fishery! I have been fishing this section of river since 1998 $500 for 8 hrs the $100 charge here is a deposit for holding the date the remaining balance is due at the trip via - cash, Venmo, check
