Float one of Southern Alberta's pristine waters, with 3 amazing rivers all around the Lethbridge area, we have the opportunity to float rivers like the Oldman, St. Marys and Waterton river. All of which can boast incredible rainbow trout and brown trout fishing! Because of the drastic changes in flows, floating these rivers is dependent on current water conditions and time of year. When booking a trip, we can discuss if there is a specific river you have in mind you're sold on fishing, or if we can suggest a river that will give you the best opportunity at a trophy fish.

Come Hunt with us! River to River Outfitters offers guided and semi guided duck or goose hunts in Northeast Arkansas just 10 miles south of Jonesboro. Northeast Arkansas is nationally known for its great duck hunting. It is some of the best duck hunting in the country. We are located between the St. Francis River and the Cache River with many refuges in between, making this an absolute duck haven! We have thousands of private acres of flooded rice and bean fields with our own 150 acre refuge. We hunt out of 5 pits that hold up to 6 hunters each. We kill mallards, pintails, teal, wigeon, gadwal and spoonbills. Our guided hunts start at shooting light and end when we get our limit or 1:00 pm. The guide will get you to and from the pit, calls for you and retrieves & cleans your ducks. All the decoys and robo decoys are ready to go for you. On our semi guided hunt you get your own pit for the day and you hunt on your own. All the decoys will be provided for you. You will want to bring your own robo ducks to use. In Arkansas , hunters can obtain their hunting license on the internet at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Website or over the counter at locations such as Walmart. Come hunt with us and go tell your buddies about the River to River flyway. Most hunters plan ahead and book hunts well in advance.

Fishing for Jack Crevalle is a more seasonal thing than redifish, drum, and sheepshead. Being that they do not tolerate cold or even cool water at times, we do not see them too often outside of the time of April through October. With that being said, my absolute favorite time of year to target these beast are from about the middle of July to the middle of September. Yes, those times of year can be more hot than anything you can imagine, but for the most part, the hotter, the better for jacks. We are on the water pretty early for the jacks as first thing in the morning tends to be best. Jack fishing is definitely for the more "strong willed" angler, especially with the fly rod. They are just a down right mean fish that will drag you around like a rag doll when hooked up. Although there are times we may be able to run into a group of them somewhere and they will eat everything in sight, that is not always the case. What some of the jack trips consist of is some serious running and gunning and making every shot count as these fish can be extremely smart sometimes and outsmart even the best angler on the toughest of days. On average though, when the proper conditions present themselves, we will get a decent amount of shots with the fly rod for shallow fish and get a few fish for you to go into a long and heated battle with. Now it does tend to produce more fish with big spinning gear as we can throw giant tuna poppers and swim baits that jacks will fight you for, so we always have it on board in case someone wants to chase after them that way as well.

As the name suggest these trips are more physically demanding, often requiring extended hiking, bush whacking and scrambling up and down steep riverbanks. Launching from the southside of San Marcos, this float is the most challenging for any angler. Super small water shallow in ultra clear with finicky fish and more logjams and overhangs, and you can shake a stick at. I feel like this trip above all others requires the most skill in casting. The section is also super rewarding and holds lots of big Guadalupe bass. The San Marcos meets up with the Blanco river. At the confluence, you will go from small water to bigger river. There’s also a dam with a dangerous portage here the portage definitely requires a hefty amount of work for both of us. If you have any problems getting around or any injuries that could impact you, I would stay away from this one. Under the dam provides great fishing and highly oxygenated water, which holds good fish. This trip is a couple miles long and offers a variety of different environments and challenges.

The Feather River in California is known for two things: the excellent wild rainbow trout fishing it provides and its natural, scenic beauty. The section of the Feather River that we fish is from Clio/Graeagle, CA area, through "the canyon", to just below Cresta Dam. It all depends on the time of the year. Yes, that's a lot of water but that's what is so great about the Feather River! You will have plenty of areas to explore to find solitude, see amazing canyon views, and hook into awesome wild rainbow trout. We consider this river to be in the Lost Sierras of Plumas County and it's a awesome fishery. Historically, the Feather River basin was initially inhabited by the Maidu tribe, although there is evidence to suggest that the Paiute and Washoe tribes had settlements in the area before being driven out by white settlers. This is a freestone river so there is no dam to control the amount of water above Quincy. Some years, the water can maintain proper height and temperatures to fish into July. This is all dependent on the snowpack. We stop fishing this water shed when the water temps get to be around 65-67 degrees in the day(usually mid June) to leave the trout alone until the temps start to cool back down in mid September. Walk and wade trips consist of hiking on the river banks to find runs that hold fish. Waders and wading boots are suggested for most of the year but once the water gets warm enough, wet wading can be had.
