Brook Trout
Suit up in your waders, UPF and bug proof gear and come hiking along through and along the beautiful tributaries of northern Michigan.
Based in the Manistee National Forest, Ash will take you to some of the most remote country chasing small to medium sized tributaries in search of wild natural reproducing trout.
Casting situations are going to require anglers to have familiarity with using roll casting, switch casting, bow-n-arrow, dabbing, tight lining, and other tight water techniques.
You'll get to experience the beauty of backwoods fishing while running into deer, eagles, osprey, minks, otters and other beautiful Michigan Wildlife.
Ash will provide you with a homemade meal, snacks, water, coffee, tea and candy to keep your energy levels up.
All equipment for these experiences will vary in equipment weights from 1-4 weight set-ups.
This is back country fishing in remote sections of water. Your ability to hike and move around obstacles is critical in making the most out of this experience. Expect to hike between 3 to 10 miles depending on your fishing aspirations and goals.
