The Blackfoot starts along the continental divide near Lincoln and drops in elevation over 3,000 feet. This is a classic, freestone stream with numerous rifles, runs, and pools throughout your float. The river runs through amazing canyons, heavy timber, and open valleys surrounded by beautiful peaks and loaded with a variety of hungry trout that love to take a dry fly! The Blackfoot is typically a little colder than other surrounding freestones and can be a great place to throw a hopper in the summer heat.
