Captain Keaton Anderson was born in Atlanta Georgia. His love for fly fishing began on the Chattahoochee river at the age of 7. His passion lead him all over the southeastern and western United States, chasing countless gamefish.
When capt Keaton turned 18, he set his sights on the state of Florida. Over the past 10 years he has been pursuing all Tampa Bay has to offer. Capt. Keaton’s knowledgeable and patient approach makes him a great choice for fly and artificial anglers of all skill levels. He loves putting clients on fish while educating them on proper techniques to ensure a fun and great day in the water.
As summer fades away, the flats come alive. Early fall, when fronts start pushing through, our water temp starts to drop and provide unique opportunities for all Tampa Bay has to offer. From blitzing Albies to cruising Cobia, you can expect to see a wide variety of species during the fall and winter months. During this switch of seasons, the tides flip as well. We begin to have lower tides during optimum fishing times. This provides longer periods of time we are able to sight fish tailing redfish and other species crushing the flats. Cooler temps and clear water make this time of year another great opportunity to sight fish the fish of a lifetime. If the beaches are not an option during this time of year due to weather or surf, Tampa Bay offers ample opportunity to fish for juvenile tarpon. It is a great learning opportunity for hooking and fighting tarpon.
